"Out of the narrow recognition of meteorite recognition!

Meteorites carry important information about our understanding of the universe, and his value is self-evident. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the method of identifying meteorite.

1. Meteorite-magnetism.
Use magnetite to determine whether the suspect is magnetic or not. Magnetism is generally divided into four categories: strong magnetism, medium magnetism, weak magnetism, and weak magnetism. Iron meteorites are mainly composed of iron and nickel alloys, so they have strong magnetic properties. Stone iron meteorite is mainly composed of iron-nickel alloys and meteorite-like silicate minerals, so it has medium or moderately strong magnetism. In addition to silicate spheres, chondrite meteorites also contain millimeter-grade iron-nickel alloy particles, so they have weak magnetic properties. Achondrite meteorites are mainly composed of meteorite-like silicates and contain trace metal elements, which are non-magnetic or weakly magnetic. The magnetism of a meteorite is mainly determined by the iron content, so there are many meteorites that do not contain iron and have no magnetism. It is impossible to judge the meteorite arbitrarily based on whether it has magnetism or not.

2. Meteorite-molten shell.
In fact, the melt shell color of the meteorite is extremely rich: in addition to black, there are yellow, red, blue, gray, glass transparent and colorless and so on.
The thickness of some meteorites 'crusts is about 4 mm; some meteorites' crusts seem to have no trace; some meteorites 'crusts have obvious differences in thickness due to multiple explosions; some meteorites' crusts have special patterns; The fused shell is as thin as cicada wings; while the fused shell of some meteorites does not exist originally, and some meteorites did not frictionally burn with the atmosphere during the fall. This is the case for meteorites wrapped in ice or hail.
There are many ancient meteorite crusts due to changes in the falling environment, such as crustal movement, erosion of large floods, rain erosion and other external reasons that have caused the crust to completely fall off. There are also the friction of desert sand or the impact friction of pebbles in rivers and lakes; some meteorites have crusts due to the long time since the ground, and the meteorites weathered themselves, causing the crust to detach. These meteorites need to be judged by their geomorphological characteristics and practical experience!

3. Meteorite-nickel element.
Nickel element was originally a pseudo-proposition. The universe is vast, and it is not scientifically necessary to stipulate that meteorite must have nickel. Whether it is a hidden rule in the circle or a lie created by a high degree of monopoly and deception is still unknown.
Meteorite lovers and research institutions in various countries have found that many meteorites have low nickel content, and even do not contain nickel at all. Meteorites must have nickel lie to end.

   4. Meteorite-specific gravity
   The specific gravity is an important indicator for meteorites. We know that the proportion of most earth rocks is around 2.6. The ferromagnetic iron ore on the earth has a specific gravity of about 5. That is the same size of ore, the weight of two ordinary rocks added together is roughly the same as the weight of an iron rock. Among the meteorites, the proportion of iron meteorite is close to 8; the proportion of stone iron meteorite is close to 6; the proportion of chondrites due to iron-containing nickel particles is about 3.5;

5. Meteorites-rare.
There are still people claiming that: Meteorites are extremely rare and rare. What is the fact? Classical meteorites are indeed rare, and people who do not have classic meteorites often disagree. Due to the special shape of classic meteorites and the exaggerated propaganda in the industry for many years, people believe that meteorites must be classic. In fact, many meteorites are difficult to tell whether they are meteorite by naked eyes only! Some meteorites are even very similar to earth rocks.
Meteorite materials are all unique, the types of meteorites are colorful, and the mysteries of meteorites are hard to end. Humans have very little knowledge of meteorites. It is not that there are very few meteorites. It is just that we lack knowledge.

VI. Meteorite-quartz.
Meteorites cannot contain quartz. The reason for this statement is said to be that the scientific community believes that there is no condition for quartz to be produced on the outer planet, and the presence of quartz is not a meteorite.
In reality, quartz exists in many meteorites. Some stone iron meteorite and stone meteorite exist in large quantities; some meteor hunters have also found pure quartz meteorites that fall vertically in a hunt at the meteorological field, and collect several such meteorites. One of the quartz meteorites is condensed with high-temperature molten attachments, and the real existence of quartz meteorites tortures the stereotypical cognitive attitudes and rigid thinking of the scientific community.
The question of what cannot and should be in the universe is puzzling! Existence is fact, and cognition takes time. Promote research with discovery, and promote steps with research. Looking forward to the change of scientific research attitudes of scientific research institutions.

Seven. The absurd method of marking meteorites
A scientific research institution invented the method of identifying meteorites by streaking is puzzling. Without looking at any features of the meteorite, pick up the back of a tile and use the suspected meteorite to mark it to identify whether it is a meteorite. This practice has continued for decades, and like the meteorite must have nickel, this alternative method has harmed many people. In fact, pure iron meteorite does not draw colored lines. Some friction-burning stone iron meteorites have a high-temperature ablation layer in the molten shell of 2-3 mm. The result of this meteorite scoring is a black line, which is fundamentally different from the so-called iron ore. Some low-iron metal meteorite mainly composed of ferric oxide is reddish brown powder after grinding the molten shell. It is no surprise to draw red-brown lines.

   8. The identification and identification of human meteorites is still in its infancy, and the practical experience of stone pickers is the most important!

There have been countless large meteorites impacts on the ancient earth. Scientists ’theory of planetary impact accumulation also proves the richness of the Earth ’s meteorites resources and categories. Ancient meteorites require the accumulation of our vast understanding and practical experience because of the great transformation of the Earth ’s environment Meteorite testing equipment can only be used as a reference, not as an absolute result of meteorite identification, so we also do not blindly superstition testing instruments! Because we have too many unknown elements outside the earth, human exploration and research on meteorites are still in their infancy, I believe that as humans continue to explore the universe, we will find more unknown meteorites!
Finally, I wish collectors to get more meteorites collection!"
