Hi, We need tests to be more effective...But to me there is nothing special with this stone too...May be a rock with hematite weathered by wind, sand and centuries.

You may have a lot of stones but not so much meteorites mister, sorry to say that. But who knows may be you have picked up one, but i think you need to learn more about rocks. You have the chance to explore the desert, learn more about geology and meteorites! You will be more effective, you will not carry terrestrial rocks for nothing, and you will increase your chance to get your dream.

If all the rocks you picked up in the desert are like the 2 you showed us, no, you do not have any meteorite. Please learn to recognize meteorites, you could start with this site in English:
